Product Introduction

Tantalum wire in coils is one of the tantalum products. Tantalum (Tantalum) is a metal element with the symbol Ta, atomic number 73, density 16.68g/cm³, and a melting point of 2980°C. It is the third most refractory metal after tungsten and rhenium. Pure tantalum has a slightly blue color and excellent ductility. It can be rolled into very thin (less than 0.01 mm) plates in the cold state without intermediate annealing. The corrosion resistance of tantalum is the same as that of glass, and only fluorine, hydrofluoric acid, sulfur trioxide (including fuming sulfuric acid), strong alkali, and certain molten salts have an effect on tantalum at medium temperature (about 150°C). Tantalum wire is stable in air at room temperature, and when heated above 500°C, it will accelerate oxidation to form Ta2O5. Tantalum has a series of excellent properties such as a high melting point, low vapor pressure, good cold working performance, high chemical stability, strong resistance to liquid metal corrosion, and a large dielectric constant of the surface oxide film. It is widely used in electronics, metallurgy, steel, chemical industry, and hard alloy, It has important applications in high-tech fields such as atomic energy, superconducting technology, automotive electronics, aerospace, medical care, and scientific research. At present, the main application of tantalum is tantalum capacitor. Tantalum must occur in nature together with niobium, which has similar chemical properties and is generally stored in tantalite, niobite, and coltan. 3. Manufacture Processes

 

The production process of tantalum wire in coils can be divided into the following steps:
