The so-called nitinol shape memory alloy refers to a binary alloy composed of nickel and titanium. Due to the change in temperature and mechanical pressure, there are two different crystal structure phases, namely the austenite phase and the martensite phase. The phase transformation sequence of nitinol wire during cooling is the parent phase (austenite phase)-R phase-martensite phase. The R phase is a rhombus, and the austenite is the state when the temperature is higher (greater than the starting temperature of austenite), or when the load is removed (external force is removed), it is cubic and hard. The shape is relatively stable. The martensite phase is a state when the temperature is relatively low (less than the end temperature of martensite) or loaded (activated by an external force), hexagonal, ductile, repeatable, less stable, and easier to deform. The temperature of shape memory nitinol wire includes room-temperature wire, High-temperature wire, and low-temperature wire. Usually used in medical treatment, fishing, jewelry, paragliding, glasses, engines, etc.

Manufacture Processes of shape memory nitinol wire
1) Ingredients: We mix sponge titanium and electrolytic nickel in appropriate proportions.
2) Melting: Put the prepared nitinol raw materials into the melting furnace to melt into nickel-titanium ingot.
3) Forging: Heat the molten cylindrical shape memory alloy to a high temperature, and then form it into the required shape through mechanical force, such as wire rods, rods, tube billets, etc.
4) Wire drawing: Put the formed nickel-titanium alloy billet into the wire drawing machine to draw the required shape memory NiTi Wire.
5) Heat treatment: Heat the formed memory nickel-titanium alloy wire to a specific temperature and keep it at this temperature for a period of time to make it enter a suitable memory shape state.
6) Surface treatment: Surface treatment is performed on the drawn memory nickel-titanium alloy wire to make its surface smooth and improve corrosion resistance.
