Product Introduction

Nitinol compression spring is a shape memory alloy spring based on Nickel and Titanium, which has excellent elasticity and deformation memory ability. Nitinol compression alloy spring is composed of two metal raw materials, Nickel (Ni) and Titanium (Ti), and the two metals are mixed in a ratio of 1:1. The alloy is solid at room temperature and has semiconducting properties.

Physical properties: It has excellent elasticity and deformation memory. Its rebound rate can reach 20-25%. Its working temperature range is -40°C to 80°C, the maximum tensile strength can reach 1200MPa, and the maximum compressive strength can reach 2000MPa.

The chemical composition of the nitinol compression alloy spring is nickel and titanium, and the two metals are mixed in a ratio of 1:1.

The processing of nitinol spring requires a special process, including steps such as heat treatment, cold processing, and heat reprocessing. The specific process needs to be determined according to the size, shape, and application requirements of the spring.

The nitinol compression spring works based on its shape memory properties. When energy such as temperature or electric current is applied to the spring, the spring changes shape and stores energy. When energy is removed, the spring automatically returns to its original shape, releasing the stored energy.

2. Manufacture Process

The production process of nitinol spring is as follows:

1) Raw material preparation: Cut the Nitinol alloy raw material to an appropriate length and treat the surface well.

2) The cutting disc is designed according to the specifications to cut the raw material into wires of the required length and diameter.

3) Further processing of the wire: the wire is further heated and cooled to achieve the final shape and elasticity.

4) Spring processing: Use machines or hand tools to make the shape of the spring, and it will reach the final shape and elasticity after repeated heating and cooling.

5) Surface treatment: Clean, polish, and chemically treat the spring to enhance the anti-corrosion and wear resistance of the surface.

6) Quality inspection: Quality inspection is carried out for each spring produced.

7) Packaging and delivery: Pack the springs and mark the relevant details and specifications, and then deliver.

The above is the general production process of nitinol compression alloy spring, the specific production process will be different due to different batches and brands.
